it's been a while.

hello!  well it's been a while since i've written, been busy with school, easter, ect.  recently i had some film pictures developed and they turned out pretty good (if i do say so myself).  here is a couple:

anyway, life has been pretty hectic lately, i am just reallllly trying to wait for school to end.  man, i'm so excited about that.  i'll be able to do more of the things i want to do, instead of sitting down studying all day.  seriously, i miss being able to enjoy beautiful days!  

song writing?

last night me and some friends went to a mini concert last night at a school.  the performer was Jeff Black, he was absolutely great.  his songs were so pure an you could tell they were from his heart and things that he just wants people to know.  ever been somewhere or been with someone and its just been so wonderful you want the whole world to know?  i do.  that's what his songs are like.  it really inspires me to try to write songs.  i've tried before, and all i could ever do is compose things on the guitar . . . with no lyrics.  but i think my problem is that i try to hard.  sometimes  i try to force myself to write a song, when i think songs should just come to you naturally.  guitar compositions come to me like that, i'll just be playing a song and then all of a sudden i find a chord i like, then i go from there.  maybe someday i'll master the art.

so at the beginning of the month i lost my camera.  basically i felt like one of my arms had been cut off.  i absolutely love taking pictures and to not have a camera, well, its like life without eyes. 
so i had begun to get just REALLY upset but then my mom pulled out this old olympous camera she had up in her closet. 
it looks somewhat like this:

it makes me happy just looking at it.

so i just got some film for it and i've taken a couple pictures.  with these kinds of camera you have to take pictures sparingly because film cost a lot these days.
